Hold downs KR/A
BB hold downs type R are made of 3.0 mm thick frame zinc-plated steel.
They enable optimum connections between wood and other materials such as concrete, steel or masonry. They are extremely robust due to their special design.
This is why our BB hold downs type R are also suitable for post connections.
Installation
There are nail holes on the long side with a diameter of 5 mm for mounting the BB hold downstype R. The mounting hole in the bottom of the bracket is equipped with a threaded rod for connecting the bracket under tension load. In order to achieve an even higher tensile capacity, we recommend using pressure plates.
The fasteners used for the BB hold downs type R must comply with prEN 14592.

The hold downs type R from BB Stanz- und Umformtechnik have the European Technical Approval ETA-13/1060.
