Code of Compliance
Mutual trust, predictability, honesty and straightforwardness are basic principles that are well-established within the Würth Group. Commitment to these values can already be found in the company philosophy written by Reinhold Würth in the 1970s. This is not just about complying with regulations and laws, but also about the inner attitude of all employees as an essential building block for the company's success.
We want to promote this inner attitude, including at BB Stanz- und Umformtechnik GmbH. At the same time, we require strict compliance with all applicable national and international regulations and laws. In order to make this transparent for all business partners, we refer to the Code of Compliance of the Würth Group.
In doing so, we are committed to acting with integrity in our dealings with one another and with our business partners.
Whistleblower system:
Even with all intent to comply with the rules, however, we cannot rule out the possibility of improper conduct by people within our company. Studies show that information from third parties often leads to the exposure of fraudulent activities. That is why we have established a system that, in addition to employees of the Würth Group, also allows third parties to give us information on serious compliance violations. This is the Internet-based BKMS (Business Keeper Monitoring System) system.
If you want to provide us with information using this system, you can give your name or do so anonymously. However, as we are looking for open communication, we would like to encourage you to give your name along with the information. We will always keep your information strictly confidential and consider the legitimate interests of all parties. Please create a mailbox in the BKMS system that we can use to contact you. This is important in case we have any questions or if you would like to add more information to your report at a later date. If desired, communication via the mailbox can also take place anonymously.
The whistleblower system is used exclusively to draw attention to suspected fraudulent activity or defined, serious compliance violations within the Würth Group. Misuse for other purposes may constitute a criminal offence.
