Screw-on sleeve, split

BB split screw-on sleeves are used as a two-part component to secure the position of vertical wooden components. It is designed so that the wood support is vertical. A solid base material such as reinforced concrete foundations is provided as the base of the fastening. The lugs are mounted at a 90° angle and are of equal length, meaning that the split screw-on sleeves can also be used across the corner for uneven beams.

Installation

The mounting is carried out in the ground using suitable heavy-duty anchors. The diameter of the wood screws for mounting in the floor must not exceed 11 mm.

Approval

The split screw-on sleeves from BB Stanz- und Umformtechnik have the European Technical Approval ETA-13/0026.
