Rafter-to-purlin anchor

Universal

BB universal rafter-to-purlin anchors can be used for fastening intersecting timbers of any kind. For example, they are used for securing the position of purlins on beams and for absorbing forces that act in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the rafter-to-purlin anchors. The BB rafter-to-purlin anchors can be used both on the left and on the right.

Installation

The BB rafter-to-purlin anchors have nail holes with a diameter of 5 mm on each side. Always use two rafter-to-purlin anchors per connection to obtain the best possible position stability. The fasteners used must comply with DIN EN 14592.

Left/right

BB left/right rafter-to-purlin anchors can be used for fastening intersecting timbers of any kind. For example, they are used for securing the position of purlins on beams and for absorbing forces that act in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the rafter-to-purlin anchors. The BB left/right rafter-to-purlin anchors can only be mounted to one side at a time, they are intended for use in pairs.

Installation

The left/right BB rafter-to-purlin anchors have nail holes with a diameter of 5 mm. Always use two rafter-to-purlin anchors per connection in order to achieve the best possible position stability. The fasteners used must comply with prEN14592.

The left/right rafter-to-purlin anchors from BB Stanz- und Umformtechnik have the European Technical Approval ETA-14/0105.
