Joist hangers
BB joist hangers are used to connect secondary beams to main beams or supports. Due to the identifying mark and the lateral ribs, the BB outer joist hangers
1.5 mm can dissipate greater forces than comparable joist hangers in 2.0 mm.
Installation
The BB inner joist hangers 2.0 mm have nail holes with a diameter of 5 mm for connecting the main or secondary beam. The fasteners used for the BB joist hangers must comply with prEN 14592.
To connect the main or secondary beam, the BB outer joist hangers 1.5 mm and BB outer joist hangers 2.0 mm have nail holes with a diameter of 5 mm. Additional anchor holes with a diameter of 11 mm are provided to connect to the main beam.

- Corrosion protection 275 g/m² on both sides - corresponding to a zinc layer thickness of approx. 20 μm
Approval
- The inner 2.0 mm and split joist hangers from BB Stanz- und Umformtechnik have the European Technical Approval ETA-09/0021.
- The external joist hangers 1.5 mm and 2.0 mm from BB Stanz- und Umformtechnik have the European Technical Approval ETA-08/0184.
