We would like to welcome you to our location in Berga, at the foot of the Kyffhäuser mountains as an apprentice process mechanic for plastic and rubber technology, specialising in moulded parts at the beginning of your training programme in September 2025.
What you can expect:
- You will start your career as an apprentice process mechanic for plastic and rubber technology at BB Stanz- und Umformtechnik - a subsidiary of the Würth Group
- Plan: Based on order data and technical drawings, you will plan the production of components, assemblies, composite parts or granules depending on the focus
- Manufacture: You will select the appropriate components, set up the production machines and equipment, fill in granules or liquid masses into the machines and monitor the manufacturing process, while continuously checking the quality of the products and taking corrective or optimisation measures
- Finalise: By grinding, milling or drilling, you will finalise the plastic and rubber components, join them together and finish the surfaces and edges
Your skills:
- You have completed your school education at least to the level of "intermediate school-leaving certificate"
- You will need to be able to work carefully and calculate quantities
- You should have an understanding of chemical relationships, and you should also be comfortable using large machines
- You are prepared to work shifts, as the machines do not stop even in the evenings and, every four weeks, even at weekends
