Flat steel concrete anchor
The BB flat steel concrete anchors are suitable for moulding into the concrete or for screwing on and are used, for example, to fasten inferior purlins and supports. They are also used to fasten to wooden structures that have to withstand lifting forces. BB flat steel concrete anchors are manufactured from 2.0 to 4.0 mm thick sheet steel.
Installation
The required embedding depth of the connector depends on the quality of the concrete and the size of the forces to be dissipated. If the flat steel concrete anchor is screwed onto the concrete, heavy-duty anchors must be used. The long back plate has nail holes with a diameter of 5 mm. On the short side there is an anchor hole with a diameter of 13 mm. The fasteners used for the BB flat steel concrete anchors must comply with prEN 14592.
Approval
The flat steel concrete anchors from BB Stanz- und Umformtechnik have the European Technical Approval ETA-13/1060.
