Technical product designer
Our company:
BB Stanz- und Umformtechnik is a subsidiary of the Würth Group, with headquarters in Berga, Saxony-Anhalt. In the plastics production area, we mainly produce products made from thermoplastics such as containers, storage boxes, trays and other technical products. In the other production area of metal, we manufacture wood connectors and technical punched parts using the follow-on composite process on state-of-the-art automatic punching presses.
To stabilise the market and expand our product portfolio, we are looking for a technical product designer at the earliest possible opportunity.

Your role:
- Creating design drawings according to technical requirements and creating technical product documentation and information
- Developing new product ideas, taking into account customer or company requirements and the economic feasibility of implementation
- Selecting suitable components, standard parts, materials and technologies according to product requirements
- Supporting the modification of existing products and their components
- Updating product documentation, managing different development versions and managing image data
- Supporting the sales department with the relevant product information
Personal skills:
- Ability to draw and care in making accurate and standard-compliant drawings
- Creativity and technical understanding as well as spatial imagination and computational abilities
- Customer orientation (e.g. when implementing customer requirements)
- Reliable, independent and result-oriented working methods
