Warehouse logistics specialist
Our company:
BB Stanz- und Umformtechnik is a subsidiary of the Würth Group, with headquarters in Berga, Saxony-Anhalt. In the plastics production area, we mainly produce products made from thermoplastics such as containers, storage boxes, trays and other technical products. In the other production area of metal, we manufacture wood connectors and technical punched parts using the follow-on composite process on state-of-the-art automatic punching presses.
To further increase our productivity, we are looking for a responsible warehouse logistics specialist with professional experience.
Your role:
- Planning and organising the warehouse process in coordination with the warehouse and logistics manager
- Performing stock controls and organising the flow of goods
- Using workstation-related software systems (MS Office, SAP) including posting incoming goods and creating forwarding documents
- Accepting the delivered goods and products as well as checking the accompanying documents for completeness and correctness
- Selecting and using systems, machines, equipment and tools for transport, conveying and packaging
- Proper storage of goods and products depending on their condition and characteristics
- Provision of the goods and selection of transport packaging and filling materials for packaging the picked goods, dispatching the goods
- Transporting goods and products
- Checking readiness for use and function of work equipment
- Ensuring order and cleanliness in the workplace
