Tool mechanic

Our company:

BB Stanz- und Umformtechnik is a subsidiary of the Würth Group, with headquarters in Berga, Saxony-Anhalt. In the plastics production area, we mainly produce products made from thermoplastics such as containers, storage boxes, trays and other technical products. In the other production area of metal, we manufacture wood connectors and technical punched parts using the follow-on composite process on state-of-the-art automatic punching presses.

To strengthen our team at the Berga location, we are looking for a full-time tool mechanic immediately or at the earliest possible opportunity.

Your tasks:

• Repairing and maintaining machines
• Assembling manufactured individual parts
• Setting up the machines
• Assembling and disassembling the tools
• Fitting and tuning tool components

Personal skills:

• Care and sensitivity
• Practical craftsmanship
• Secure grasp of computers
• Knowledge of physics to be able to evaluate material properties
• Independent and reliable working methods
• Willingness to work shifts

Technical requirements:

• Completed vocational training as a tool mechanic or toolmaker in the field of mould making, punching and forming technology or a comparable qualification
